Achieving the Dream: Community Colleges Count (AtD)
is a multi-year project funded by the Lumina Foundation for Education and operated by seven national partner organizations. Its primary aim is to support the development and implementation of effective institutional practices, strategies, and programs that will lead to higher levels of student achievement and success at community colleges. Achieving the Dream constitutes one of the foundation’s keystone efforts and is the largest non-government initiative in community college history.
JBL Associates collects and manages the relevant student-unit record data from each institution participating in the initiative, and is also tasked with data analysis and reporting. We have been responsible since the inception of the project for developing an extensive data collection and management system on over ninety colleges, seven cohorts, and seven academic years.
