JBL Associates, Inc. is an independent public policy research firm specializing in higher education. Located in the heart of Bethesda, Maryland, we are a small company that provides the opportunity for well-rounded career development through hands-on experience in all facets of research.

We currently have one open position for a Research Assistant. Qualified candidates will have bachelor’s degrees in social sciences, demonstrated statistical programming experience, a minimum of two college-level statistics courses, and experience in the following:
- Data collection: Support quantitative research projects by collecting and evaluating data.
- Data management: Conduct data editing, manipulation and management of large databases.
- Research and analysis: Support quantitative analysis of data, descriptive and multivariate statistics using Excel, SAS or other statistical software.
- Report writing and presentation skills: Assist in preparation of proposals, written analytical reports.
