Sue Clery
Suzanne B. Clery is a Senior Research Associate (Subject Matter Expert, Project Director) at JBL Associates, Inc. Ms. Clery received her MBA from the University of Maryland and BA in Economics from Virginia Tech. She has been with JBL Associates for seventeen years. She has worked as an analyst on projects related to student access and persistence, educational outcomes, institutional characteristics and finance, student characteristics, faculty salaries, and financial aid. Ms. Clery has technical expertise, knowledge, and experience in developing, populating, and maintaining large-scale complex databases, survey methodology, managing large projects, and computer-based hardware and software technologies. She designs data collection instruments, documentation for databases, manages database, conduct analysis and prepares written reports. She has also developed econometric models for clients.
Ms. Clery is highly experienced with many national databases, including the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, National Survey of Postsecondary Faculty, and the College and University Professional Association's salary databases, and has used them extensively in projects for the National Center for Education Statistics, the National Education Association, and state agencies and individual institutions, among others.
