Gina Shkodriani
Gina M. Shkodriani is a Senior Research Associate (Subject Matter Expert, Project Director) at JBL Associates, Inc. Dr. Shkodriani earned her Master's Degree in Research and her Doctorate in Social Psychology from Saint Louis University Her career includes social, organizational, and postsecondary education research, and fifteen years experience in research project management, survey design, focus groups, interviews, case studies, and program evaluations. She currently serves as project manager for quantitative and qualitative policy related research for federal, state and institutional level projects. She has been with JBL Associates for 8 years.
Dr. Shkodriani is experienced in qualitative research methods and analysis, recently completing a study of high school students' experiences with the college application and admissions process for the Education Conservancy. Focus groups with high school students were conducted and a comprehensive report of findings was produced. Dr. Shkodriani was also the principal investigator for a qualitative study on the internationalization of postsecondary institutions for the American Council on Education. Focus groups with students attending highly internationalized institutions were conducted and a final analytic report was produced. She also managed the qualitative research and analysis for NAFSA: Association of International Educators and for Orange County Community College, New York. In addition to managing qualitative studies, Dr. Shkodriani is experienced in managing a team of researchers for projects with the U.S. Department of Education. She will oversee the qualitative analysis of this study and will contribute to the final report.
