Cheryl Pierce
 Cheryl Barge Pierce has been Vice President for Business Management and Contracts for JBLA since 2007. Ms. Pierce earned a Bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University and completed graduate course work at Virginia Wesleyan College. She is currently managing all fiscal, business and contract issues for JBLA’s work with the U.S. Department of Education, and with a variety of states and foundations. During a 30-year career, Ms. Pierce has worked in contract administration and business management for several 8(a) designated government contractors, developing administrative systems, processes, and procedures that have been accepted and approved by the federal government. Ms. Pierce acted as both the Business Financial Manager (BFM) and senior contract administrator for a major IT system acquisition contract for the U.S. Department of Labor and the IRS, totaling over $17,000,000 per year in obligations and baseline/earned value management accounting.
